Mine rattled at first, but as the bushings broke in, the rattling has quieted down. Now I don't have to bump the tunes as much.

put a rubber band around the shifter and put the other end around, like, your cigarette lighter = )

fix

My shifter rattled but i got rid of it

In the first picture the piece that’s circled in red was what made mine rattle. Its the piece that drops in where that old bushing goes.

I just shimmed it in there in 3 places. I used some rubber that I cut from the inside of the second picture. The second pic isnt that good but you get the picture. Now once that circled red piece is in there with the rubber it doesn’t move what so ever.

I put everything back together and no more rattling.

if you want i can go take a picture of mine. THe rubber i shimmed is just in 3 places like a triangle

The picture are on here http://members.shaw.ca/redrx7/

first 2 show some what of the rubber as its a tight fit. second ones the best it points to the rubber

the last one is just of my car.

I guess I only put 1 rubber shim in there. oh well it doesnt rattle! I got the rubber in there by wedging that red circled piece and the rubber in on kind of an angle and just pushing it down. once its in there its really hard to get out.
