Just installed the J-Spec motor mounts

I just installed the Mazdaspeed / J-Spec motor mounts from Mazdatrix:

http://www.mazdatrix.com/mounts.htm

My 20 y/o stock mounts were so loose it was annoying to even drive with that much wiggle in the motor.

The Mazdaspeed mounts are actually slightly taller, maybe because they aren't broken in. So it was a tight squeeze to get them installed. I had to install them one side at a time, pushing the motor up from the oil pan side with a block of wood between the oil pan and my jack. The install is quite easy actually.

My first impressions are that I can FEEL the motor now. Most people wouldn't notice it, but I like it. It's not enough to shake the dash or anything. Also all wiggle is gone from the motor. My exhaust even stopped rattling! The shifts are smoother and theres less bucking from take off. It even idles betters. I think I need to do the rear diff mounts and the tranny mount also because I still have a good deal of drivetrain play and I think it's in the diff.

So these mounts are a nice streetable upgrade. Poly or delrin would definetley be better for racing though because even these mounts are a little cushy. That's all.
