I'll say.
My dad thinks RX-7's are POS...he'd never buy me one.

Even now, he's still waiting for it to blow up, so he can laugh at me

Speaking of driving experence ive been driving a 96 GMC 3500 dullie extended bed and cab, its a monster and im getting my license this next month the 18th of this month ill be 16, ive been driving for 1 year and about 2 weeks never had a single close call that i caused, Execpt this one time in california i cut this guy of for flippin me off, lol. But anyway The only time i came really close to a crash was one time there was a bus parked on the side of a street and people were merging in from that blocked lane, well some jackass in a corvette thought he could just cut right in and i had to throw it into 2nd and floor it to avoid being hit by the moron, worst of all i had a passnger and if i wouldnt have floored it he would have been dead now.

He did it because he's nice...Ever get a gift before? Guess not....my dad gets satisfaction out of seeing his son be happy with his first car...is there something wrong with that? Please tell me....besides, just because you had to buy your car, doesn't mean I have to buy mine....btw, i have a job, and i'll be using that money to pay for my gas, insurance, upgrades, and some extra spending money. Why wouldn't it make a good first car? I'm happy with it, and I can handle it, I drive about twice a day in my dads car, and sometimes in my moms car for about a year.

That's one clean TII man, good luck it, should be alot of fun for you and your dad. I don't see why a kid can't get a car as a gift from his parents if he knows the value and magnitude of what his parents just did for them. My dad is helping me with my TII, but I guess he's getting the better deal, cause once I'm finished putting it together and I goto college, the TII is staying with him and he gets to drive it around *autocrossing* . It's all good, just drive responsibly and don't do anything stupid with it .

Yea, I should just let them go off into lala land where they can find anything to make a complaint about....you know what....if my dad bought me a brand new porsche, i would know I was spoiled, but I really wouldn't care what anyone else thought, because i'd be having too much fun driving it around to give a damn! I know i'm lucky to have this car, and just because your dad didn't buy you your first car, doesn't mean that in every case thats not like yours its so wrong, so have fun bitching to the wall, because I am damn happy and i'm enjoying this car already, even before I get to drive it.

Man let them flame all they want. You have a clean 7 that some still dream of (including myself). He is paying for his gas, insurance what else do you guys want. Some might have been deprived and had to pay their own way through, but guess what everyone is different.

lol, actually yesterday i went to my school because of a schedule conflict, and the way they had it was i had a 1st AND 2nd period study hall, meaning i could have came to school an hour and a half later = more sleep time....ended up being that they messed up my physics class....there was one class that i had to take that they only allowed during 4th period, and thats when most of the physics classes were, and the only one that wasn't was full....so in the end, they ended up bumping me up to honors physics, and moved my study halls , at least i have a study hall last period so i have early dismissal now
