My first rx7 sat for a year and a full tune up was all it needed. My 10th AE sat for 12 years and required much more. I would say a full tune up and go from there.

I would probably drain and put new gas in it. Deflood it and see what you got. I think its aaroncakes website or the faqs that has a tutorial on this. 250 dollars damn. damn. damn.

cheap as hell...nice find.

VA lube it up...

if a rotary sits for a while, it is a good idea to oil the chambers before initial start up...

Put some oil in the spark plug holes. Pull the egi fuse and unhook the wires to the plugs. Crank it just to make sure the oil is covering the whole housing. Let it sit for probably about a hour or two to let the oil soak into the seal grooves. Don't want to chop a seal (assuming the motor is still good) just trying to start it up from a long time sitting.

After that, like said before, drain the gas and put in new gas. Change the oil and coolant. You should be ready for a start after that. Some oil in the plug holes, a little gas in the intake manifold and crank her up. Let us know what happens.

After that.. If it doesn't start sell it to me for 300$. If it does... Sell it to me for 300$. Your still making a profit.

EDIT: Just looked at mileage... best of luck to you. If it starts and sounds rough, get some compression numbers. The springs may be worn out from the mileage on the motor and sitting without running for so long...

haha she runs !!!!!!!!!!!! but only when gas is poured into a vaccum line i think injectors will be clogged judging by the gas tank deposits. The damn thing sounds better than my built t2 its all quiet and stuff but idles great
