you know your heater inlet thingy, well if you have a after market filter you wont have any way to filter it so heres what i did, cut your old pipe about right were it almost is about to make an angle (about 10in) then cut it flat off there, leave it hooked up and go out and but a apc crank case filter (i got a crome one) and stick a pice of steel inside of the rubber mouth(this prevents the filter mouth from colapsing) make sure it fits tight so your engine dont suck it into it lol, and put the filter in the pipe, then just black tape around the base of the filter(helps the clamp seal) and then just put a screw tight clamp on and tada, you have a shiney filter for your heat intake.

You mean the hose that goes to the airpump?

You could put a breather filter on it if you want, there not too expensive.

.....

"heater inlet thingy.."

The only thing that I can even think you could be talking about is the airpump. Yes, you just need to get a crankcase or PCV filter and stick it in there. I didnt even use the stock hose, but just instead stuck the filter directly into the inlet of the airpump.
