Exclamation just a couple questions

im about to rebluid my frist rotary myself i own 2 rx7s myself i have always got remans from the dealer but i am a mechianic so i figure ill take ashot at it everyone says if u can do a piston engine u can do a rotary my main question is when u have low compression is it the apex seals or the apex seal springs that go bad when i rebluid am i ok just changing the apex seal springs or do i have to change the seal also. where can i get the best deal on a rebluid kit any good websites its just a stock 2g n/a its my daily driver not trying to make it fast all just the cheapest fix is all im looking for .

It's the seals and or the housings that are the largest cause of low compression.

If you blew the seal out, you will also need new rotors and housings, or good used ones. On whichever rotor you blew.

Try looking at rotary engine illustrated, search google for it.

well i know i didnt blow a seal out the compression is just low i was just wondering when i rebluid if i could reuse the apex seal or do i have to change them i plan on installing new seal springs

seals can be re used if they are within spec

springs are garbage buy new ones
