just a couple questions
im about to rebluid my frist rotary myself i own 2 rx7s myself i have always got remans from the dealer but i am a mechianic so i figure ill take ashot at it everyone says if u can do a piston engine u can do a rotary my main question is when u have low compression is it the apex seals or the apex seal springs that go bad when i rebluid am i ok just changing the apex seal springs or do i have to change the seal also. where can i get the best deal on a rebluid kit any good websites its just a stock 2g n/a its my daily driver not trying to make it fast all just the cheapest fix is all im looking for .
It's the seals and or the housings that are the largest cause of low compression.
If you blew the seal out, you will also need new rotors and housings, or good used ones. On whichever rotor you blew.
Try looking at rotary engine illustrated, search google for it.
