just changed clutch won't stay running!

just changed clutch won't stay running!

changed clutch now the car starts but won't stay running ! Any advise on what could cause this ? Already checked for loose wires etc.

check for vacuum leaks. Also check the connection at the AFM and make sure the plug is connected corectly.

Did you reconnect the ground at the starter (just something to check, because I have forgotten it before). Next, check vacuum lines. Starting, but not idling is almost always a vacuum leak. Will the car stay running if you are giving it gas?

already checked connections and no the car doesn't stay running when given gas , it will run for maybe 10 sec. and die

How did you change the clutch?? I'm assuming you just dropped the tranny?
If you did, and the engine tilted a lot, it probably pulled a line off.
You should be able to hear the hiss of the vac leak.....
Check all the wires and lines around the top of the engine, at the back of the manifold by the firewall.
There is a sensor ground back there too- is that hooked up?
