Cool Just bought TII :) Advice needed...

I just picked up an 87 TII yesterday. Unfortunatly, something to do with the starter I think went. Now I'm not getting any power at all. I'm getting it checked out at a shop in a few hours.
Once I get it going is there anything I should do to make sure it's running in top shape? I need an aftermarket intake also so any advice on a good one to get would be cool.
The car is white with the side mouldings and around the hatch glass white too. Stock car except for the Ractive exhaust and brand new clutch and tires.
ANYTHING that will help me out in keeping my car in mint shape will be apprieciated!

My next future plan is an upgraded turbo so if anyone could suggest a nice sized turbo for a decent price that'd help me out.

Thanks.

pretty much the basic rotary maintenance stuff. just remember to cool down the turbo and all that good stuff. put premium gas in it, especialy if you have raised boost. put a good fuel pump in it and get an FCD if you have a few mods. whenever you get rid of your cats, look into getting some upgraded injectors. as far as intakes go, ive heard good things about the Apex intake, but a good homemade TID will work.

If you are going to upgrade your turbo you may want to upgrade you exhaust to a 3" pipe from the turbo back and I would stick with a apex exhuast with that to.

Its not just as easy as throwing a new turbo on there. Use the search feature.
