Just bought a 91 fc

I just bought an rx7, did a compression test and we got no compression on the front rotor, but the back rotor was fine. Doesn't smoke and idles pretty good for sitting for god knows how long. Is the motor dead or is there a way to build compression?

Chances are, it's dead. But there could be a problem that's causing the ECU to put it in limp mode.

possible although unlikely to have two stuck apex seals. you can try pouring oil into the spark plug wells and rotate the engine over and let it sit, see if it builds compression. You should honestly prepare for the worst though.

If the oil trick doesnt work you could try injecting ATF into the spark plug holes. Rotate the engine to spread it all over the seals then let it sit for an hour before starting the engine.
