Jtp hotline fender fitament help

Hey all,

I can't seem to get my hotline front fenders to come close to the door and fit on the back side. The fronts fit fine and line up, but the back end is short. Jtp says they should fit and is a bit busy, and I haven't gotten an offer to replace or refund.

Can anyone figure out why my car seems Longer than The fenders? I'm considering ronin speed works as thy gaurentee door fitament with brackets.

Are these defective?

your car is either hit somewhere or the fenders took a shape from sitting

Fenders have the same problem on both sides and the frames fine. Just took the Orem original fenders off. I don't think they shrunk, but were kept for a month in the original wrap I got them up when I picked them up in the garage rafters. They seem too short by about an inch.

Why can't I edit? Just took the Oem ones off. Kept them for a month in the rafters in the wrap I got them in. They don't seem warped, just short.

if they were stored unsupported they can take a different shape, try putting them outside on a sunny day fender side down so they might "flatten out" a bit which would make them "longer"

Aren't vert fenders a different length? Maybe they are the wrong fenders...

Did you gap them right? Assuming the doors are stock and haven't been off (factory panel gaps), pull off all the bodywork forward of the firewall, then install things from the door forward one at a time and match the gaps as you go. It may just be that your bumper needs to come in a bit.

Disclaimer: I've not really gapped one of these yet, that's just a general rule of thumb combined with my observations of the car's construction.

vert fenders are the same, bumper bolts to the fenders and the radiator support there is no way to easily pull it in

my guess is you had them hanging on a rafter and they have hinged themselves, when you bolted them on the car they are shorter. You need to give them some time to relax so set them up opposite of how you had them stored.
