Jspec S5 13BT to S4 TII...
I've begun putting a Jspec S5 13BT in my '87 TII. So far everything has been really easy but I'm down to the wiring. I have a N374 ECU and have it routed in the car. Is there any easy way of making the interior harness work. Does anyone have a schematic for converting the two or a make a conversion harness. I know what everyone says, "Just buy a US ECU & harness" but I'd rather that be a last resort. I would probably just put in an EMS before that. I'm not afraid to do some soldering and cut into the harness. I do however have to do it quickly.
Thanks,
Anthony

Ok, I was rambling like an idiot up above. What I need to basically know is why the interior harness in the S4 and the S5 ecu are not compatible. Is it because of the series change or is it because of a japanese/american difference? Anyone know what all is controlled through the interior harness? I dont really need the idiot lights and I have aftermarket boost & oil pressure gauges already. So is it even needed?
Thanks,
Anthony

I already have a N332 I'm not using but I didn't think that it would work since it is a '87 TII ECU. Shouldn't I need a N370 if I'm going with the US equivalant?
My recommendation:
Install the S5 keg by istelf with the S4 peripherals. This elimantes any compatibility issues with the wiring.
My adivce for your situation:
Only thing I lost leaving that harness disconnected during the Haltech install is the boost gauge. Meaning, the boost gauge wire is in that harness. I'm not sure what else is, but I garuntee that there's power coming into the ECU through there as well since it doesn't come from the engine side.
