Jspec S4 t2 tranny problem

Hello, i bought this car a couple months ago, it had been sitting for awhile so i have just gone from one problem to the next. Yesterday it became almost impossible to shift into reverse and gears 1-3 and occasionally it grinds. I looked around on the search function but didnt really find a good answer. Tomorrow im going to do a tranny fluid flush and check out the bushings because thats the cheapest thing to check. Right now the car is modded, street port yadda yadda most likely sitting around 240ish but with long term goals of 380-400 so i know i will need to replace the clutch pp and flywheel. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

The bushings wont make it impossible to shift... they just provide the guidance.

How are the hydraulics?

I honestly have no idea. But based on everything else that i have found or had happen on the car in the last 6 months I bet they are shitty. Where can i check that?

These cars use hydraulics instead of a cable to relase the pressure plate. Check on the driver side firewall there something that looks similar to a brake master but smaller, check the fluid level, if is empty you have a leaking hose or bad slave. If your fluid level is ok, then check the clutch master cilinder. If all that is working like it should. Probably you will need a new tranny.

Check all your clutch hydraulic components and maybe flush with some good brake fluid. Maybe check the adjustment on the clutch pedal. How does it drive while in gear? Might have to pull the trans to check the clutch.
