jdm springs?
about 6 months ago i really wanted to get rid of my AAS on my 89 gxl so i found on ebay a set of blistien shocks with jdm springs for about 180 shipped. they actually ride really nice, stiff, and it sits lower, not sure what kind of rx7 there from:gxl, TII...
i was wondering if anyone knows the spring rates of these jdm springs?
they are prity stiff, so if was wondering if a set of rb springs would really be an upgrade?

the springs were the same on all models us or jdm to my knowledge.
Most likely whomever sold them to you either said that to pump up the sale and you feel a difference in them due to placebo. But they could also just be a random set of J-spec springs from some company since springs are very cheap here. But you scored on the bilstien shocks, if they are competion shocks and not just stock replacements that is most likely the reason you feel a difference. I would say the the RB springs would be an upgrade if you do only have JDM stock springs.
