"jdm" S-afc

hey is there any difference between a "JDM" S-AFC and an American one?
The Japanese one uses Km instead of miles, that's all I know.
Thanks!

I wonder if there's just a function for choosing which standard it uses, or if they really are different somehow, perhaps their website would shed some light on that for you.

Nope, there's really no difference.

I wouldn't get anything but the new blue screen Super-AFC. The previous model has like 5 ***** on the face of it, and doesn't even hold a candle to the power and adjustability of the new one. There are ones older than that that are even worse - some have like one **** to change the entire mixture. Yeah.

The Super-AFC doesn't do anything with the speed sensor, so there's no KPH involved. All the menus are in English as well.

I have seen quite a few older Super-AFC's that were "JDM" being sold on Ebay from guys in Japan. Trust me, it's not worth the money you're gonna save. Not to mention the new Super-AFC is VERY reasonably priced, and can be found used rather easily.
