jdm rear end question

jdm rear end question

so i was thinking and tried searching for an answer but couldn't find anything


since a rear end swap is suggested for n/a->turbo conversions would jdm rear ends have the same specs as usdm turbo rears?



just thinking about future plans and if a local importer starts doing parts and engines as well

yes, they are the same.... differences in rear ends are from series to series, not continent to continent

well except usdm turbo II -> n/a models , that's what i was thinking but wanted to make sure

Be careful with the ratios...
I believe the majority of them are 4.3:1 versus the US-spec standard of 4.10:1.
It's not that much of a difference, but you should be aware of it.

That's a good pieces of info there. Anyway to know for sure which of the JDM RX-7's came with the 4.3 and which came with the 4.10? GTX, GT-Limited, Vert., etc.?
