Jammed-up drivers window.

my drivers side window is jammed-up, it only goes down a couple of inches, I checked out the shop manual and it doesn't look to complicated to fix, but then again i've said that before... Any tips would be appreciated.

I had replace my driverside window motor and cables and it wasnt difficult at all. Chances are, your cables are tangled or jammed so I'd recommend changing those first before you order a new motor.

Is the rubber strip on the inside that butts up against the window folding down as the window goes down? I had that problem. If that's the case, aggressively clean the inside of the window and then polish it so the window will slide past the rubber strip instead of grabbing it.

Try my fix, it works. I had the door apart a couple of times trying to figure out what was causing the weather strip to double under before I realized that the "sticky" window was grabbing the edge of the rubber strip and pulling it down into the door.

I have the door panel off and I am also 100% sure it is the cables, they look impossible to get to, are there any directions anyone can point me to ?
