J-spec Question and S5 core w/ S4 stuff?

J-spec Question and S5 core w/ S4 stuff?

hey, i was thinking of buying a J-spec from these guys (www.fnf-motors.com) for my 87 TII, i would prolly strip it down to the core and put all my wiring harness and stuff on it, but i have heard that a s5 has a electric oil pump. so i would have to fab somthing up there, is there any other lil differnces that would cause me problems?

Not Positive on this.but I think someone will tell me IF I am wrong.Use the front Cover of the S4 on the S5 core.the s4 front cover has the Mechanical OMP.

You can swap the S4 front cover and TB onto the S5 core and intake manifold to retain the mechanical OMP for use in an S4.

i was just looking at there site, i dunno if i'd go with that company, they have no warranties. and some others offer atleast 30 days, recently alot of people have been having problems with jdm motors. i'd be wary it may need a rebuild
