Are j-spec engines any good?

Has anyone seen or purchased a j-spec engine, im thinking about buying an engine from them. I am just wondering if they are quality engines and will be a worth while purchase. If not do you have any recomendations where to buy a new engine?

J-spec isn't a company. A "J-spec" just means a used engine imported from Japan, as in they are "Japanese specification" engines. Made by Mazda, maybe rebuilt somewhere along the line.

They are just as good as any junkyard engine you could find over here.

Meaning they could be total ****, or actually decent engines.

I thought it was them GREDDY and Scoot stickers that made them so fast....whats a DA TURBO!!!! Is that like N0Z because my friend said that my car would go fast with some N0Z it's like a nitrojinauxide injechion into the pistons, and it makes em move faster like the VTEC that they have in all them Type R modelz anyone ever hear of this N0Z stuff or where to get it? I bet it would be cool, I could have like a 1000 shot and dust all the domestics at the local strpi.

Personally I would rather have a Dodge rotary, far greater than the japanese counterpart.
