Ive searched my butt off on the TB mod and i just wana ask a simple question.

is the TB mod removing that black plate behinde the TB? cause that looks as simple as hell.

What black plate? You remove the second set of butterflys and the thermowax along with the coolant lines.

I have no idea where you got that idea, but no it certainly is not. That spacer plate has passages in it that direct air to the nipples on the sides of the plenum from either before or after the throttles. It must be left in place and is must be installed the correct way around.

The TB mod involves the removal of one of the two sets of secondary throttle plates (to improve throttle response) and the optional removal of the cold-idle thermowax.
