When I swapped out Interiors, from s4>s5, I too had a beep going off. Turns out the steering wheel sensor was dirty. I gave It a wipe and never had the problem again. Take the wheel off and give It a wipesies.

Are you sure it aint the rev limiter thingy. When I first got my car and I raced another FC on that day I thought that someone kept honking their horn at me! maybe its a crossed wire??

You didn't search or you would have seen that the power steering computer beeps when it has an error code.... such as the wheel position sensor. I did a quick search for the word "beeping" only in the second gen section and found 78 threads with about half of them with the same problem you describe.

So when you turn your wheel all the way one direction or the other it stops.... it is the power steering computer beeping because of an error in the wheel position sensor. Fix or replace the wheel position sensor.

The beeping and power steering errors are also covered in the owners and shop manuals.
