Ive Joined The Club, Woohoo

today i got to join the greatest club, the BLOWN ROTARY CLUB i was at work and i got a call from my dad that he was driving my car and he flooded it, so i thought no big deal i took off from work for 10 mins went and started it up, but something was wrong, it sounded like total **** and ran like it too lol, top speed was 55mph in 3rd floored @5000rpm's lol, so he was all telling me no its not blown, i came home took out the plugs check the compression, front rotor was fine, rear rotor however, no compression on any side LOL, i think its funny as hell and i cant figure out why, i should be mad, but its funny to me, i get to rebuild meh engine WOOHOO, lol just thought i'd share it with ya guys, as i am now one of the members of the club

I find it great that you are so excited to learn. Do your homework and then focus on the project at hand. Also I would recommend not to start untill you have all the parts purchased. Don't tear you engine apart and then let it sit for 2, 3 months until the parts are purchased. That makes the task much more difficult Someone can probably point you to a video tape that is available that is probably the best thing for you to get before you start. It covers the whole process. Do a search maybe or talk to www.atkinsrotary.com

hmmm sounds good, i think ill get those, you think it would be even better if when i got those that i sent them off to be cryo'd?? think that would help more?? that would be nice lol

Agent_D,

I was planning to talk to about 8-9 rx-7 shops when my engine goes (another 100K at least before that thought).

I was thinking with 300rwhp which is my eventual target, I'd either have 3mm compresses steal or ceramic apex seals.

These look pretty good, but I'd want some racing or rx-7 pro shops opinions.
