This pictures are 3 month old, from when I bought it.

Its my first Rx7.
Its a -87 T2 with a S5 engine.

What I have done to it so far is that I have painted the taillights red instead of stock black and it now got 4" mufflers.
I have also installed an open air filter.

Damn, I've never seen pictures of how bare your interior is. Your car must weigh practically nothing!

Interior? That picture is a bit deceiving

I have a full interior except the storage bins (and the rear carpet is cut at the storage bin area. Other than that in the interior I'm running front carpet but with NO foam, about 3/4 of my tar removed from the interior, rear washer fluid bottle/hoses, rear antenna/wiring/antenna cable, front speakers, and some misc unused wiring cut from the body harness. Rest of the interior is still there, but tons more stuff has been taken out in the engine bay and various other places under/outside the car.

batteries produce hydrogen gas which is explosive if ignited, if there happened to be an explosion in that battery compartment you could be seriously injured. look into getting a racing battery enclosure and make sure the battery is vented properly.

don't take this as sarcasm, it is for your own well being.

Just cleaned the interior of the car.
It's not going to look any better than this. Kinda low quality pictures.

For all you guys with the blue interior, I included a shot of the panel on either side of the radio surround. Mine's is discolored. Am I the only one with this cause my old fc had the same mismatching panel.

LOL

No kidding, wow. People always say mine looks clean, but really its not, it's dirty. I don't worry about cleaning my engine bay, because it just gets dirty again.

My first FC was an 86 GXL, pictured here with my 80 GS.

Later I found a TII in the junkyard for $250 that ended up only needing a fuel pump...

The day I brought it home...

About two weeks later...

Right before it died from heart failure...

That picture was taken soon after I got the car, supposedly it had a new engine put in it soon before I got it. I was never able to get any info on the swap though.

Once I started the rebuild, I realized that the 88's life prior to the junkyard had left it with cancer in a bad way. Bolts broke more often that came off. I managed to luck into a 90 GXL auto shell for $125. As the motor rebuild finished, I swapped the rest of my TII drivetrain into that car...

During the swap...

I haven't really take any good pics of the final product, but here are a couple that I could find...

A few more can be found HERE.
