Its a miracle: my FC's working!!!

After months and months of it just sitting in my driveway....
I got my FC running! it turned out it wasnt cranking fast enough.

We did some things here and there:
1) JDM NGK RE Spark Plugs

2)New battery

3)ALL fuel (that was there for a year) drained out and new fuel put in

When it ran, it burnt off the oil and gas that it accumulated and it smoked like crazy!

.... and then it ran. we paid 600 bux for it when it wasnt working...we got every penny's worth!

It sounds nice idling. Very very smooth.

haha thanx

yeah its GAP i think its my bros shirt and i was cold soo i took it. ha lil bro cant do shxxt bout it.

also, the car runs, but then i think theres an exhaust leak around the manifold, might be the rusted out 02 sensor but after like maybe 8 mins it gets real smoky then the car shuts off.

could this be the 02 sensors fault or what?

i had the same problem when i started my $70.45 fc. the problem was the gasket that seperates the exhaust manifold and the downpipe.

I almost always wear latex gloves when working on or in engine compartments.

Better grip, and your hands don't get stained black.

I agree I wear mechanix gloves or latex depending on what I am working on!

As for your problem at hand I would check out to see if the cats were clogged or not!

it sounds like ur cats are clogging ur exhaust, thus making the car difficult to sart. the rx7 duz flood occasionaly, some more than others. a good first mod for u would be a fuel cut off switch so that u can easily unflood the engine.

look at ur main fuses under ur hood. one will say EGI inj. this is the fuse that controls gas getting to ur engine. if ur car floods, remove the fuse and crank the engine with ur foot on the gas. afterwards, reinstall the fuse. an easier way is to make a switch. run two wires from where the fuse goes, hook up a fuse of equal resistance to one wire, and then hook up a switch in ur car. this way u will not have to remove the fuse.

that shouldnt make your exuast be clogged in any way, but theres a ton of info about 5th and 6th port junk if you search.
