Wait a minute, let me get this straight, you own a japanese car and you can't read japanese?! What are you thinking man?

That's almost as ridiculous as someone coming to the US and assuming that they'll never have to speak english. If they go into a business then the employees should know how to speak Hindi or Italian; if they break the law and get arrested then the cops should be able to speak Mandarin or Russian; if you buy a japanese car or parts for the japanese car then you think the manufacturer or retailer should print the owners manual or install instructions in your native tounge. How do they know what language the buyer is going to speak? :0)

That was funny, yet completely off topic and unneeded.

nah, it was a retarded rant. The japanese know damned well that America is a bigger market for them than their own country and therefore they should print the instructions in english just like every other manufacturer.

That must be one of the all-time most ignorant replies I've ever seen.

Have you ever thought the this particular product was NOT made for US consumption???

So why would they waste money (which the Japanese are pretty good about) printing something that is completely unnecessary?
It ISN'T required by law in Japan to have English instructions printed for all manufacturered products.

You really need to take some classes in International Business...

I've been told that japanese is much easier to learn than chinese, and that with one course you can grasp quite a bit.

Point being, im sure there is someone at your school or somethin that can give you a rough translation, or better yet a perfect one
