Angry its about time

i have been waiting on the damn turbo gasket from mazda. i have been waiting since last thursday because i was having the peeps put on my downpipe and hi flow cat, as well as my white gauges for the inside and i broke a damn needle the guy charged me 40 bucks to fix it. u think its worth it for install a downpipe, white gauges, fix the broken needle, have brand new belts put on, and install the turbo gasket for like 250???????? or do u thinnk im getting ripped off????

That seems about right for a dealer.Could have a private shop do it for less.But dealers usually have better warranties on parts and labor.

I would DEFINATLY pay that to a dealer. Is that price for the labor or parts and labor?

Its definately worth it if you don't have the time. Also if they mess it up they have to fix it, If you mess it up and can't figure it out your stuck with it.

Most dealerships are about 65-85 dollars an hour on their labor rate. Do the math on how many hours it took to perform the work. Seems like a good deal to me!

wow--that has to be a first....someone takes a 7 to the dealer and gets a good deal on service!!!! There is only one Mazda service here and the ONLY thing I went to them for was to get a replacement key made. I have checked their prices and you wouldn't believe it--they even wanted to charge me $10 MORE for an oil change because it is a rotary!! I asked them what the hell that had to do with anything, they told me it was more work to do a LOF on a rotary.....can ya believe that one???
