Roy James, look at this http://www.techedge.com.au/vehicle/wbo2/wbo2.htm

That url should show the prebuilt kit. I think its worth buying the prebuilt unit rather than the kit unless you are a skilled kit builder with experience behind you. Just my opinion. At first they only offered the kits, but there must have been a big demand for prebuilt units. Unfortunatly they ran into a production glitch that they explain on their site. Thats understandable being their first run of this unit.

What I got was the pcb enclosed in a grey box as seen on their site. A harness to connect b/t the box and the 02 sensor and the digital display. The box with the pcb has two leads coming out, one for power and the other for ground. It was just a matter of screwing the NTK 02 sensor into the original 02 sensors place, connecting the cable, and wire tapping into a switched pwr and a ground. Plug the digital meter to the box and start the engine.

The only glitch I've seen in the last three days, is when I idled the car in the driveway yesterday for close to ten minutes before leaving to drive. The meter was stuck on 12.7 no matter how much I punched the throttle. Finally took the hint and pulled over ten miles later and cycled the car off and back on. It started working right and has since.

Sorry about the backlog on the sensors. They have to be bought seperatly. The Parts Bin is supposed to have them for 120, but I bought from NAPA because of instant gratification, at 145.00 bucks. I'm gonna check and see if they have another one for the other car.

BLACKFCNYC.......I never got around to buying a regular air fuel meter prior to this wideband. I was and am still using a multimeter to watch the 02 sensor output. Last spring I noticed much what you are seeing. I'd turn the wipers on or the headlights and the voltage output of the 02 would change downwards.

Now I had laughed and giggled at a fellow on this site on how he had resorted to clamping a wire on the body of the 02 sensor with a water hose clamp and then grounding the other end of the wire to the engine. HA, HA, HA, HA I said. How silly. The exaust is tied to the engine with bolts and nuts. This guy is nutty.

Well I got my meter out and put one lead on the body of the 02 sensor and the other on the battery neg terminal. I forget the reading but it was some god awful ten plus ohms. Yikes! I check b/t the exaust manifold and the neg terminal. Less than 0.2 ohms.

Well I put a wire and water hose clamp on the 02 sensor and tied the other end to the little ground wire b/t the back of the engine and the firewall. Don't get that problem anymore with the 02 sensor acting up when I turn the headlights on. I'm even thinking of putting the original ground wires back on the exaust system. Nah. Lets not get radical.

Any of that make sense????? Ground the 02 sensors body to engine or chassis like the man said and see what happens. Does not cost much to do so. A buck maybe.

LOL, damn, that guy was pretty bright on his nuts then if he thought of that. I wouldnt have thought that either. I mean, the damn O2 is bolted pretty much as grounded as you can get. Hailers, you are my new hero, haha. I will be using this wide band o2 setup with my TII block with N/A rotors and turbocharged (long story...haha)
