Does anyone know for sure if the antiafterburn valve which is a part of the ACV, should still be introducing fresh air into the rear rotor at IDLE?. I know its supposed to do so during deceleration, but how about when idling?

Yeah, I know for sure. The answer is NO! The anti-afterburn valve should only open under the high vacuum of deceleration, that is, when the throttle is shut down above approx. 2500 rpm. It should inject air until it reaches idle (vacuum about 15-17"). If your getting air from the valve at idle, you need a new ACV! Have a good day!
