iron coolent wall thickness??

iron coolent wall thickness??

well i was looking ar my irons and though a few were thin.. who know the limits and how to repair the thin ones.... lemme know thanx dustin

is that the spot thats on the front iron close to the exhaust port??? If so Bruce T said .060" was about the thinnest that hw would like to see. Also He said that if it was thin you should epoxy the outside.

I see now that is not the exhaust spot. I am not sure about the thin spots in ohter areas. That intake area is cooled from the intake of gas and air.

the other coolant jackets walls can also thin, not just the ones around the exhaust port.
