Hey guys,

I'm having a hard time counting the number of long/short blinks for the error codes so maybe you guys can chime in.

I'm checking it against the error codes provided by banzai:
series_4_error_codes

I realize this isn't a definitive way for diagnosing (say checking ECU pins) but it's to narrow down the components that I'd need to check at the ECU.

try unplugging the TPS, that will give you a 1 long 1 short code, and you can get a feel for what short and or long looks like
