Had to junk a 90 GTU but lucky to find a cherry 90 GXL nearly mint with 93K. Paid 2,300 USD a great deal! However a southern car. Interior plastic turns to potato chips from sun/heat. Have been able to get all but the defrost vent plastic from dealer after he did a nation wide availability. Problem, seems red interiors not common and hard to find. Defrost vent now naked. Had to compromise and order the three pieces in black..yuck! Anyone know if it is possible and how to contact Mazda Japan direct for interior parts. I suspect thats my last hope. I did find one 89 with red interior at a U Pull in North Carolina but some one beat me to it. Whole dash pillaged and only parts taken was the defrost pieces. What luck!

Ahh go to another dealer or mazdatrix. They do ahve the red parts

 

You could always get them dyed red
