Unhappy Interior Condition

I have a few 'small' interior problems and i was wondering how i could fix them so that they wont be problematic again. I bought the car used in august and i noticed that A) the two screw mounts underneith the speedmeter/tachometer/gauge housing seem to have broken off (the yellow plastic w/ black screw mounts). I know the dash board would be EXTREMELY expensive to replace, even with junkyard materials. Also, less importantly, the lower left screw mount on the plate underneith the dash (must be taken off to reach dash speaker) has broken off.

The center console pocket underneith the radio has one of the screw mounts stripped, so the pocket moves back and forth.

The reason this bothers me is becuase i have a semi-sound system in my car and thus causes these components to rattle, but not as much as if im flooring it and revving around 5k-8k RPM. The doors also rattle around the door handle on the inside....

I know replacement could be necessary, but all i really would like is to fix the problem with as little money spent as possible.

Thanks.

Jeff L.

The plastic has dry rotted there isnt an easy or cheap EFFECTIVE fix. but mazdatrix has the pieces so you could pick up a couple at a time as you have money for it. Also you will want to solve the vibration problem if everythign is rattling at high rpm.

a complete dash replacement? that will be expensive I thought you were refering to the individual pieces like vents and center console pieces.

Opps...thats what i meant, but are the plastic peices molded onto the plastic 'visible' dashboard? or are they screwed into it so that i can replace the yellow underneith with something more durable than the flemsy plastic. Like when you take off the center console, there is plastic (maybe its different color depending on car) and the plastic has black screw backings on it so that the screws will not be stripped.
