I wasnt really hungry on my lunch break today, so I just drove around. I noticed that my car was running really good
I have had an ongoing problem which I thought was the clutch. When I am just driving and have it at about 3000-4000 rpm and I step on the gas, it goes to about 4500-5000 rpm and it doesnt go like it should, then it dropps down about 1000 rpm (not down to 1k) then it starts going. sounds like the clutch is slipping,right?

so if I take it up to about 7000 and drop the clutch it grabs like it is supposed to and I am off.

so whats the deal??? the only thing weird about my car that I can think of is that one of the aux ports is stuck open. could this be my problem or am I looking for zebras when I hear hoof-beats?

 

sounds like the clutch is dead.
