Intercooler sizing!

Hey everyone, did a quick search but i'm wondering if a 24x12x4 intercooler front mounted with stock turbo pushing 12 PSI of boost is overkill for an intercooler? but will probably be going with a stage 2 or 3 BNR soon...

3' inch inlet/outlet bar and plate design .2 PSI drop at 15 PSI

Don't do it.
That XXL IC core is waaaay too big for a stock turbo...even a hybrid.
The 3" inlets / outlets should've given you a clue.
That thing can support like 1000hp!
Too large of an IC core will induce more lag and eat up your boost.

At lease drop down to the 3" thick one - that's like under $200.

I stuck with a 24x12x3 bar/plate core.
Greddy is about the same size, maybe slightly smaller.
I just reduced the inlet/outlet to 2.5" with silicone reducers.
You'll be overkill on the stock turbo ...though I did see an improvement in power/torque anyway.
It will be more useful when you upgrade the turbo. That is the obvious answer.
