Also, Briggs and Stratton Makes locks for many car companies. I remember seeing an old key for my dad's 50 chevy PU that said B&S. They also make many partts for Ford as well. Back in the day when I was a small engine tech, I got to go see a couple of their factories when I went to take the MST test. (The small engine equivelant to ASE certification)

...94% correct.
ford uses both the 4X114.3 and 4X100 patterns. Pissed me off because I wanted to use Focus wheels on my RX-7. Focus and escort wheels will not interchange on SE hubs.
The ford probe shares the same wiring harness, except for the engine harness, per year. Same body harnesses as well. So does the MX6. Some switches as well, unfortunately not the wiper switch.
Seats from almost any ford compact will bolt up...I've tried MANY escort, probe, and focus seats with success. Focus seats are VERY plush, but seat is pretty high.
MKII Supra P-Type wheels bolt up...14X8 and look good on an SE.
Supra seats also bolt up with light modification.

I'm not 100 % sure, but won't the Pine Tree air freshener fit in a Yugo also? No , that's right, the blue one is for the FC, the yellow one is for the Yugo. But wait, doesn't yellow and blue make green? Hell, now I'm really confused!!!!!!!!!

Yeh, those sawblades are like the heaviest rims EVER, I dont see why you would want them except for winter-only driving :p. The Supra guys ask for OUR rims.
Want some good rims for a Supra? FD stockers

The sad thing is some Ford or Mazda engineer could probably type for 30 seconds and print out a page that has exactly the information we are asking about. Is there a "Customer Liason" position at Ford? I'm half-joking.

The new Ford 500 is on a Mazda 6 chassis with a Mazda 3 engine (the 2.3L 4cyl). The Mazda 3 is based on the Focus but they took their pick of the good parts and came up with the others on their own. My bro's 93 MX-6 is parts compatible with a 626 and Probe of the same year. It's been going on for a while, I don't know all the details, but if you notice, there's no rotary Ford... our cars are all Mazda.

You start out life coming out of the tunnel, get fed from the mountains above, seek answers from the man in the sky, and spend the rest of your life trying to return to that golden beginning , which still to this day, brings a tear to your eye. Oh, I think that the fat chick still goes in the back seat in every car, right?

Ohhh! I got one!
The front lip from a 93-ish Mazda Protege pretty much bolts right onto the FC and looks pretty good (well, it doesn't go ALL the way under the side fenders, but is close enough. )
I love going to the junkers to see what kind of little aero parts and stuff I can find to stick on my cars. It's my idea of a day off.
I've also seen alot of homebrew cheap turbo kit guys use the intercoolers from turbo Volvos in their projects. In fact, one of the turbo FB guys in our club used one and it works great and is a pretty nice little piece.
What about getting a huge oil cooler out of a heavy duty truck to swap out with ours?

I don't know where the hell you get your info but get it straight.
"The Fusion rides on a streched on a streched base Mazda 6 front wheel drive platform... Twin cam power trains are similar to the Mazda 6 including a standard 160 horse power 2.3 liter four cylider and optional 221 horsepower 3 liter V6"
Now if you would have been driving an '86 Ford Escort wagon for the past 2 years, you'd want to forget about Ford too.
