Intake & TB mod question

Hey guys,

I have a TB with the mod done though I haven't installed it yet. We've been cutting/fabricating our own I/C and intake systems at the shop for a couple of months and just for the hell of it I'm gonna make a tubular system for my NA so things look a little nicer under the hood, that stock intake pipe is gross. I suppose I'll use 3 inch piping...I wondered if the TB mod and a tubular pipe would change the sound of the motor much...the way the car sits (no airpump) it doesn't have much of a growl under load. I drove a friends 2000 accord V6 coupe with an AEM system today which sounded terrific, very...mechanical sounding!! I figure if I can make the system w/ the bungs for vacuum lines in a couple of hours what the hell...any ideas?

Also, does anyone know if someone makes that intake elbow that attaches to the intake manifold/TB in aluminum? I know they don't for the NA, but perhaps someone sells one for the TII (as a part of their I/C system) that might fit??
