i got the hks $20 adapter and found a 3" filter on ebay for about $30...

i am ready to install but am left wondering... what do you use to connect the two? or do you just put the filter right on the adapter?

it doesn't seem like the second option would fit or be very effective... maybe i am putting the adapter in the wrong place???

please help... i am new to mods on my 7... it's an 88 GTU...
