intake removeal woes

intake removeal woes

so im trying to get the lower intake off of my 13b n/a and ive taken all the bolts i can find off of it includeind the two actuators. should i beat it with a hammer? anyone have any pictures?
help me please!

yeank on it. make sure you have all the bolts taken off. mine was stuck on with the gasket holding it pretty tightly. dont bash it qwith a bfh, but just yank on it or hit it with a rubber mallet.

wow that was a bitch to get out! good lord that is not going to be fun to get back in.

yes i am working on my rx7 at 1 in the morning :-P

That was the easy part.

The hard part is cleaning off the old bonded on gasket material.

I assemble intake with RTV. It's much easier to work on next time.
