Exclamation Intake help!!! Please!!!

I just took apart my stock intake/air box...i realized other than the regular tubing ( the bigger one) there is a smaller rubber tube thingy ...so there is 2 in all?!?! what am i supose to do with the small rubber pipe???

It goes to the air pump. It (should) goto a filter. You can buy a breather filter from the auto parts store for about $10 or just rig it up to the new intake... or just connect it back up to the box like it was originaly.

I don't think anything too horrid is going to happen if you leave it unfiltered. At most the air solenoids might clog up after ten years of being unfiltered. The air going to the airpump doesn't goto the engine intake, its just to keep the solenoids and actuators clean from dirt.

^ right, called an air breather i think. most i've seen in autozone and pepboys dont fit around the FC's large airpump hole, so you might have to rig it. you can get a colored sock to match your engine bay and cut it into a small piece and fit it on there with a little hose clamp, works just as well. my FC came with one that fit so i dunno where you'd get one...
