Do you live in Cali? All depends on your states emissions regulations. Im running into a big problem due to the fact I will be living in Cali next year.

Most places any exhaust is fine as long as you can still pass a sniffer test. In cali, any mads have to be CARB approved. Racing Beat has a good, but kinda expensive, exhaust that has a nice sound to it. I've heard good things about magnaflows, too. If you don't want something loud, then try to stay away from a single exit. They still generally have a good sound on a rotary, though (unless you get the cheapo e-bay knock-offs.)

www.racingbeat.com -> Exhaust

As for intake...the common mod for NA guys is to buy a Prelude cold-air intake (www.ebaymotors.com), and use that. There is a write-up how to cut it correctly, just use the search button.

I will be moving to Cali and I will not pass the visaul inpection. As for exhaust I like my setup. Pacesetter w/ o2 sensor location, with a resonitor for midpipe and dynomax catback. Jus tpicked up a CARB cat converter, hoping that will allow me to pass smog next year.

I love my Bonez cat back three chamber dual exhaust. I do get good words on how it sounds. This gives me a deep sound.

The sound your not liking from the civics is them not running a CAT. Sounds like a lawn mower.
