Insurance for Daily Driver
I have a 88 vert. in very good condition and am thinking about new insurance (currently with Allstate). I was hoping to find a negotiated value policy but most don't seem to cover daily drivers. Does anybody know or are using a company that has a negotiated/agreed upon value policy for daily drivers? I drive less than 10,000 miles per year.

Just speculating here, since I had a hard time trying to get a Good appraised rate insurance.
I just said screw it and got liability.
I would get an appraisal and then shop for companies. You can get an appraisal done at any Dealer or even a Used car gut that holds a valid license to do so.
If you show them the appraisal then they should be able to negotiate a policy for you.
That appraisal may put your insurance rate up,but at the same time your car will be insured for it's value.

The Allstate guy is trying to talk me into keeping full coverage stating that if some else hits me or basically if harm comes to my car that's not my fault they will repair it without considering Blue Book value. Sounds iffy. This after asking his advice on keeping liability only and pursuing collision elsewhere. (I also ask his assistance with that).
I like the idea of getting a good appraisal done. More ammo the better.

I use gieco, and pay $65 +/- a month. I put it with full coverage, $500 deduct, and drive only about 10k per year. Pay about 350 something every six months.
Recently added a supra and only raised it to 100 something. I believe it's still under $120 for both cars and am added driver.

IF you can get full coverage by all means go for it!
I had to grab what I could as I was just to exhausted to pursue any other Insurance companies UP here..
Besides with all that I have into the car I just wanted to drive it!!!I can't just toss money into a car to make it a nice ornament in my yard!

Currently sitting on full coverage, 100 deductible (not really a mainstream company, so no deductible wasn't an option) for a little over $30 a month.
Strangely, the same coverage on the truck (with a 1000 deductible) is over a hundred. So ford rangers are more expensive to insure than rx7s. Go figure.
Even hiking the custom parts to maximum value leaves me with a pretty comfortable payment, and the requirements are either photographic proof or receipts of purchase. (Preferably both.) Smaller, local companies may go better for you than the larger ones. Particularly if you can shell your insurance premium up front.
