Instrument Cluster-Trick to getting out?

Is there a trick to getting out the instrument cluster? I have it loose but cant seem to reach around to disconnect the speedo cable or bulb connections. Any advice?

Reach from behind the dash. Once you disconnect the speedometer cable (there is a small catch) you will have a lot more slack to remove the harness connectors.

If you have large hands it is a very difficult job.

You can always undo the speedo cable at the transmission end.
This will give you lots of slack to play with.

Thanks. Feel stupid now but got the speedo cable off. Now the two plugs in back of the cluster, how do they come off? There's like a stem sticking out out the the back of each plug. One plug is white and one black. I tried twisting a little and pulling but didnt want to break anything. Its brittel back there.

you press that small tab on the back towards the center of the plug and pull the plug.

Instrument Cluster - Tach Buzzer Adjustment

Good thing I waited because I was nort epecting that type of plug with long pins-Thanks

More dumb questions though. Now how do I go about adjusting the tach buzzer. My buzzer goes off around 2000rpm and above. Oil, coolant are full as can be. Im thinking the buzzer is out of adjustment and maybe overtime somehow changed. It never goes off below 2000 or idle. I heard you can adjust it so please help. I dont know anything about circuit boards.

Attach is the back of the cluster. Through search I think the buzzer is in the right had corner. Since I dont know circuit boards, can I assume you remove the bulbs and screws holding the board and remove it and then you can adjust on the other side?
