NY Instrument Cluster Swap

Is it possible to do a direct instrument cluster swap on a 87 gxl to the one with
9k rpm 89-92 n/a gauge?

from what i have seen, i know that even the s4(86-88) Non turbo to turbo are not a diffrect swap, s5(89-91) are however interchangable from NA to Turbo. Im guessing that they are NOT from one series to the next. Hailers would be able to further assist

Check the bottom section of the link. I've never done it myself, though.
