Just realized that its not clear which direction to face the flat sides of the gaskets. Need help with this asap! I haven't removed the stock parts yet and I will update on how well it goes.

I believe the flat side faces away from the exhaust flow, so that the rounded side is in the exhaust flow to smooth it.

Won't matter. Rounded edges are just from the shear used to cut the sheet metal.

It was done in a very short amount of time btw and now it sounds fantastic and is no longer leaking exhaust/rattling like it previously did. Had access to lifts, an impact gun, and lots of tools at my work...

The fit is mostly excellent-- I have a bonez cat and the rb y pipe, as most seem to have reported, matched up fine with a lot of pulling at the rubber hangers. Those old ones were naaasty.
