I installed actuators in both doors (none were fitted in my car) and connected them to my alarm. What do you want to know?

jono, "follow-me" means unlocking the drivers door will also unlock the passenger door. Most central locking systems do this.

You will probably need to use a keyless entry system to do that, since the actuators only have two wires and aren't really smart enough to tell other actuators "hey i'm unlocked, you should also think about doing the same." I do believe that you can get power lock systems with that function without having to have keyless entry, but keyless entry is pretty snazzy and is less than $100. And if you can install your own actuators, you can install a keyless entry system.

I want my viper alarm to work the same as my S5 vert. I unlock drivers side door and pass door unlocks.. don't want to install another actuator if i don't have to.. Was wondering if it was easy to install the follow-me system in my S4 TII. Thanks

If you want the alarm to unlock the drivers door you have to install a new master actuator. You don't have a choice. The driver's door only has a lock position switch, not an actuator.

I have a actuator in the drivers door. When i hit my remote the drivers door unlocks but pass side stays locked. I want the follow-me system so it will unlock my pass side at the same time. If i have to install another acuator i would will but I would like the follow me system if it's possible

FC's never had remote central locking, or an actuator in the driver's door, so you must have a broken aftermarket system. It's probably just a failed actuator on the passenger's side or some dodgy wiring somewhere. If you not able to find the cause yourself, I'm sure an auto electrician or alarm installer would sort it out pretty easily.

Ah, okay. Did it work properly after the install or has it never worked the way you want?

Prior to installing the drivers side door actuator i had to unlock my drivers door with the key. Aftewr the actuator install my alarm remote will unlock and lock drivers door. If I install the follow-me in my pass door it should sense when drivers door is unlocked and locked and do the same right? I might just install another actuator in my pass door and be good.

What I'm trying to get from you is whether or not the stock passenger actuator still worked (i.e. "followed" the driver's lock) after you installed the alarm and driver's actuator, or has it never worked. Is this a recent problem or something that resulted from the alarm install?

My car (90 GXL) has always done this... I thought it was the power lock feature? :/
