Installing Air Pump. Is it a pain in the ***?

I'm putting it back to pass a smog test. Anything I need to remove before installation? Suggestions much needed thanks.

Nothing remotely tricky about it, bolt it on and connect two air hoses...done.

JDM pumps are an upgrade, they're half the size of USDM smog pumps.

i dunno when i removed my pump also went the acv and air out muffler in the fender, and all the stuff on the cat and intake.. thats some hassel, just move to no emissions.

depends, i've seen plenty of people just remove the pump too. without much info it's not worth guessing and writing down all the possibilities.

in all honesty, it's all basic stuff anyways.

i don't have any JDM ACV left but i recall they only had 1 electrical solenoid, vs USDM which has 2.
