installing aftermarket power antenna w/aftermarket headunit

ok so i have a aftermarket headunit in my car.. and long time ago i ripped out the stock antenna because it was busted.. I just got a new aftermarket antenna that im putting in.. I know the stock head unit uses a negative signal for the oem antenna. Im trying to figure out how to get this working on my aftermarket setup.. One is obiously ground, red is positive, then blue is signal wire.. if my aftermarket headunit is wired correctly, than i figure there should be a signal wire at the harness plug that will be ready to go for this correct?

if the new antenna is wired the same as stock then the head unit needs to be wired as stock. only other thing would be to run a power wire all the way from the new power antenna to the head unit wire for a power antenna. this would make things much easier.

Yea i never like to do that either but it is a lot easier to to something one time knowing it will work that having to do it 4 or 5 times and it still not working.
