installing aftermarket cd player
well i installed my cd player its one of the new sony ones. with the black face that folds down but what i cant figure out is how to get the power entenna to work. does anybody know how??

I had this same problem, here is the fix.
Most power antenna's work when power is applied. The 2nd gen's however already have power to the antenna, thus needing a ground to make them work.
What I did was just run a relay that uses the power lead out of the deck to swich a common ground hooked up to the antenna, any normal relay will work.
I'm not sure if there is an easier fix.

aftermarket stereo's require a relay to activate the stock power antenna.
You may wish to search (found in the upper right hand corner of this page) as the relay diagram has been posted many times.
