Installing 1600cc Bosch Injectors....A question

I got the modified fuel rail and everything. Just one question. Do you have to remove the stock rubber gromets in the intake manifold or do you leave them in. They seem to sit barely down in them if you leave the rubber part in.

Thanks

I believe they barely sit in the holes even with the stock injectors?

Well I had 720cc injectors and they had a good bit down in the gromet....but the 1600cc only have less than a quarter inch......if right then no biggie.....I just dont want to have to take off my intake manifold again grrrrr.

Hmm. Well on my stock ones it seems they only wanna go down a little bit. They kinda float around at the tips.

But maybe I'm just not putting them in right

I'm about to put my 720s in and was wondering if I need new grommets? If so how much does the dealer charge? Thanks.

You need the lower, sealing grommet.&nbsp If not, you'd get an intake leak.

also with the bigger injectors....i.e.1600cc grind, cut get rid of the diffuser. with lots of fuel and high fuel pressure they have been know to break and get into your engine.
