Installed Racing Beat Mufflers

Just installed my Racing Beat mufflers. I replaced my cheap generic mufflers with these. Sound wise, the tone is a little deeper, but it doesnt really sound any louder than my cheap mufflers. As for power, big disappointment. I spent 500 bucks and gain nothing

I have a 90 GXL with no cats. On the good hand, i get these powerful backfire, but no flames

About 470 for the 2 mufflers shipped. I drive a Mazda, not a Honda. No thanks to N1

I could have told you that you'd gain no power by switching cat-backs. The stock system is more than good enough as far as flow is concerned, it's the stock header and cats that are the main restrictions.

You may have freed up 5 hp, but not enough to notice.

If you haven't already, get the stock Y-pipe off of a TII. It is larger piping than the NA one (same as Racing Beat Y-pipe, but not as pretty) and can be had cheap. I can't guarantee a power increase, but if there is an exhaust restriction this will help.

Mazdatrix complete dual system is the way to go. No question about if there is a hp gain. Its a more than obvious improvement. Win the lottery to pay for it though. Fits like a glove.

Mazdatrix sells HKS, Racingbeat, and Dynomax catbacks, with the same part #'s. I bought my RacingBeat turbo-back exhaust from them when Racingbeat's website was down. I'm selling it with my FCD, if anyone is interested
