Exclamation Installed Engne, Now Trying to Start. What To Check?

so I just finished installing my engine about 10 minutes ago. I tried to start it and it seams fine.
However my clutch petal seams spongy. I am wondering if I need t bleed the clutch after I take the engine out and put it back in?

Also about how long will it take for the car to start?

Couldn't hurt to bleed it, it should be cheap and fairly quick, and then if that doesn't solve the problem, hey, you still have new clutch fluid and one less thing to try.

I can't answer your other question, but I'm under the impression that you've already started it, is that right? If so, what do you mean by how long will it take it to start?

No I have not started it. What I ment was that it turns over. It seams that if I keep trying it will eventually start. I just don't want to sit there for 10 minutes trying to start it when it should only take 5min. or quit in 10min. when I should keep trying.

I'm not sure, but there might be an installation guide by Aaron Cake, and if there is it would undoubtedly include first time startup procedures. That guy has incredible write ups on everything.

Another thing to check is make sure you have spark and fuel pressure, you might also check more closely things that you didn't replace before putting the motor in.

Tomorrow I am going to try and check my fuel and spark but I can't right now because I am working alone. I am just very determained to get it done.
But I am going to call it a night and get a few hours of sleep before I have to do stuff tomorrow.
Thanks
